PATH

2024

PATH is an international nonprofit organization that has been translating ideas into health solutions for 40 years, with a focus on child survival, maternal and reproductive health, and infectious diseases.

PATH mobilizes partners around the world in order to take innovation to scale, working alongside countries primarily in Africa and Asia to tackle their greatest health needs.

PATH takes a multidimensional approach to solving health challenges, with work spanning five platforms:

  • Vaccines to give children a healthy start in life.
  • Drugs to treat diseases more effectively and at lower cost.
  • Diagnostics to detect and track diseases.
  • Devices like household water filters and prefilled, non-reusable syringes.
  • And system and service innovations to ensure that all these tools reach the people who need them.

Resources available on their website include publications and a number of sites on specialized topics in global health, including around immunization, diarrheal diseases, household water treatments and storage, high-impact technologies, malaria, meningitis, neglected tropical diseases, reproductive health, and cervical cancer control.
