Glossary: Introduction to Decision Analysis

2022

This glossary of terms supports the teaching pack on Introduction to Decision Analysis, in which students are introduced to decision analysis in the context of public health, the core elements of a decision analysis (e.g., objectives, alternatives, probabilities, and outcomes), and the basic steps of a decision analysis. Many of the terms relate to basic probability, an important prerequisite for students pursuing a course in decision analysis. In addition to the glossary, materials include an instructor's note, videos, companion slides, an annotated bibliography, and sample exercises.
