Video 2. Quantifying Health Benefits

2022

In this video, Dr. Stéphane Verguet discusses quantifying health benefits in ECEA. ECEA quantifies the health benefits procured by an intervention similarly to a traditional CEA, except it examines the health benefits across population subgroups instead of one group only (e.g. five income quintiles). Health benefits mainly depend on the disease burden, the intervention coverage by subgroup, and the intervention effectiveness.
