This article, published in the British Journal of Psychiatry, presents a probabilistic Markov cohort model that compares the cost-effectiveness of three treatment strategies (outpatient, day-hospital and inpatient psychotherapy) for patients with cluster B personality disorders. Patient-level data is used to populate the model and the analyses are conducted from the societal and payer perspectives.
